Notifications
Mosic keeps you informed through a dedicated Notifications inbox, a bell dropdown in the top navbar, and activity timelines embedded in detail pages and dashboards. This guide explains where to find notifications and how to act on them.
The Notifications Page
Navigate to /Notifications or click the bell icon in the left sidebar to open the Notifications page.
The page uses a split-panel layout:
- Left panel — a scrollable list of all your notifications. Click Load more to page through older items (50 per page).
- Right panel — a detail view of the selected item (task, contact, deal, ticket, conversation, project, task list, or space). When nothing is selected, it shows “Select a notification to view details.”
Click any notification in the left panel to open the related item in the right panel and mark that notification as read.
Notification Bell (Dropdown)
The bell icon in the top navigation bar opens a quick dropdown showing up to 30 recent notifications. A red badge on the bell shows your unread count (capped at 99+).
Click View all notifications at the bottom of the dropdown to go to the full Notifications page.
Marking Notifications as Read
- Individual — click a notification to mark it as read.
- All at once — click Mark all as read in the dropdown or the Notifications page header. This option appears only when you have unread notifications.
Activity Feeds
Activity feeds are embedded throughout Mosic and show a log of changes to specific items. They are separate from the Notifications inbox — they reflect all changes on an item, not just events addressed to you.
Dashboards:
- Personal Dashboard — your recent activity alongside tasks and projects
- Workspace Dashboard — workspace-wide activity
- Project Dashboard — activity specific to a project
- Space Dashboard — activity for a space
- Task List Dashboard — activity for a task list
Detail pages: Activity timelines appear in the sidebar tabs of detail pages for tasks, projects, spaces, contacts, customers, leads, deals, organizations, tickets, and pages. The timeline shows status updates, field changes, comments, and mentions for that specific item.
Activity Feed Cards (Dashboards)
On dashboards, the activity feed card shows:
- Recent Activity header with an item count
- A filter dropdown to narrow by type (for example, All Activity, Tasks, Projects, Comments, Mentions)
- Each item shows the user’s name, what happened, a link to the related item, a status badge, a priority badge if set, and a relative timestamp
If there are more than six items, a Show X More button appears. Click it to expand the list. Click Show Less to collapse it again.
Configuring Notification Preferences
To control which events trigger notifications and through which channels, go to Settings > Preferences > Notifications.
